Macomb, Illinois - Trip March 2003

I found it interesting that each counties had the same basic style of courthouse, all with a clock and bell tower. The pictures are as follows: Macomb, Carthage, Mount Sterling, and Lewistown.

Miscellaneous pictures of the rural Illinois countryside, followed by a picture of my hotel. I found it interesting that almost everything in Macomb was along one road, and it was only one block deep, therefore behind my hotel was the end of Macomb and just snow covered corn fields.
