January 2002

In December of 2002, I excepted a job in Ann Arbor, Michigan and with this acceptance began the largest transition of my life. The following are pictures from my journey to the northern tundra of Michigan. Starting with my apartment search trip, which was January 1 - 3, 2003 and ending with snow pictures from my front porch, these pictures are to make my Florida friends jealous.

- THE APARTMENT SEARCH - 

During this trip both Em and Mom joined me for this journey, a family bonding moment. A lot of these pictures are of Em and I playing in the snow, the rental car, and outside of my complex and my apartment. 

 - THE MOVE - 

These are pictures the morning Dad and I pulled off in the moving van.

These are pictures of the actual move, a state-by-state inventory, unfortunately the state signs at nights did not turn out as well. For a hint they go Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. And, yes all states are represented - it is just not very easy to see them - and North Carolina & Tennessee, not at all.

Yeah We're Here! Getting off the freeway at Ann Arbor, the next morning (1/12/03) and returning the moving van.

- THE APARTMENT (empty) -

The rooms are in the following order, front door, stairway, living room, living room toward the hallway, hallway, kitchen, guest bath, guest room, guest room closet, laundry, master bath, master closet and porch.

These are views of my office building from the outside, taken Super Bowl Sunday.
